In continuation of earlier notifications, Panjab University will further start functioning in physical mode for the classes/courses as per following schedule:

10. a)UG-4^th year class of 5 years course, UG-3^rd year class of 4 years course, UG-2^nd year class of 3 years course and UG-1^st year class of 2 years course shall start functioning normally w.e.f. 10.3.2022.
11. b)UG-3^rd year class of 5 years course, UG-2^nd year class of 4 years course and UG-1^st year class of 3 years course shall start functioning w.e.f. 17.3.2022.
12. c)UG-2^nd year class of 5 years course and UG-1^st year class of 4 years course shall start functioning normally w.e.f. 25.3.2022.
13. d)UG-1^st year class of 5 years course shall start functioning normally w.e.f. 31.3.2022.
14. Eligible students are allowed hostel accommodation on sharing basis and residents will have to follow COVID-19 guidelines issued from time to time.
15. If the situation is worsened due to COVID-19, it will be mandatory for the residents to vacate the hostel accommodation to comply the guidelines issued by the authorities.  Situation will be reviewed from time to time.
16. Conditions for students are as under:

As per past practice, hostel accommodation will be provided on merit basis with the following conditions:

1. Consent from parents mentioning that their wards will follow all the SOPs/directions issued by the Government and University from time to time.
2. To submit an undertaking through Chairperson of the Department that if the situation demands, they will vacate the hostel and leave the University accommodation.
3. Students must have received both doses of vaccines with a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test report not older than 72 hours of reporting in hostel for accommodation.
4. Guests/visitors entry will not be allowed in PU Hostels till further orders.
