3 days medical conference focused on women centric malignancies will be held at PGIMER from 1-3rd of December, 2023
The incidence and prevalence of cancer is increasing at an alarming rate. PGIMER has been active in teaching and training of various healthcare personnel to deliver best quality healthcare to cancer patients. For the same purpose, PGIMER, Chandigarh is organizing a 3 days medical conference focused on women centric malignancies from 1-3rd of December, 2023. International faculty members from the USA and Europe are participating in this event to deliver lecture and share their latest research with the participants.
The aim of this conference is to train a large number of doctors and nurses from various parts of the country in various aspects of management of Gynecological and breast cancers. This conference is being organized by the Department of Clinical Hematology and Medical Oncology, Department of Radiotherapy and Oncology, & Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The Department of Hospital Administration, PGIMER, Chandigarh as a part of this International Women’s Cancer Conference is organizing Oncology Nursing Workshop on 1st December 2023 for the benefit of the nursing professionals. The aim of the workshop will be to focus on nursing aspects of cancer care and will cover a wide range of topics from overview of basic chemotherapy to administration of the drugs, fluids, access devices, exposure risks, spill management, stress management and so on.
