The Higher office of Panjab University through office of SC/ST cell has sent a letter to Director, Department of Social Welfare of Punjab as well as to DPI, Punjab to discuss the issues of pending grant (2014-15 onward) of PMS scholarship of SC students. This issues would be discussed in a meeting that has been scheduled be held on 6th Sept 2022 in Vice-Chancellor committee room.
The Committee of high officials of Panjab University has been constituted to discuss all these issues with Director, social welfare as well as DPI punjab to resolve the issue.
Recently, the University has issued a notification to release the degree and DMC of all students who have cleared their dues.
Based in above developments, the students have been again requested to stop their ongoing protest and help the university to resolve the issues of PMS scholarship amicably.
