Panchkula May 24 The former Deputy Chief Minister, Haryana,Mr Chander Mohan today demanded from the Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal Khattar that a sum of Rs one crore to be given to the member of a Corona deceased doctor and nurses besides a government job to be given to a family member of the deceased. He also urged the Chief Minister to increase the double seats of MBBS in the state to cope with the increasing demand of the doctors in the country. He also advocated to roll back the exhorbitant increased fees of Rs 10 Lakh for MBBS course in the state. He pointed out that due to pandemic, the parents were unable to pay fees as they had lost their livelihood.He also opined that those specialist doctors who were interested to set up their own hospitals, they should be provided loan on minimum rate of interest with the conditions that they would provide best health care facilities to the poor on genuine rates. He also demanded that the insurance cover of Rs 10 lakh to be given to the outsourcing staff and contractual employees para should also increased to Rs 30 lakh and an employment to be given to the member of a deceased , Besides, the services of the contractual employees of National Health Mission who were working for the last five years to be regularised , keeping in view their remarkable services to the huminity. Chander Mohan said that over 1000 doctors had lost their lives in the country during the first and second wave of Covid-19
. He stressed upon the need for the collective efforts so that the evil design of dreaded pandemic of Covid-19 could be defeated. He appealed to the people of all walks of life to work with a spirit of unitedness to overcome the pandemic so that a new era of peace and prosperity could usher in the state. He also opined that keeping in view the possibility of hird wave of Covid-19, advance arrangements should be made to meet the challenges ahead.
