Manish Tewari’s silence in Swati Maliwal case is exposing the Congress – Sanjay Tandon

In Chandigarh, Congress’ powerful speaker Manish Tewari has forgotten to speak due to greed for a few votes of Aam Aadmi Party: Sanjay Tandon

Chandigarh, May 17
BJP candidate Sanjay Tandon said even though the Aam Aadmi Party seems to be taking a step back in the unjust incident that happened with its MP Swati Maliwal, the BJP is standing ahead in support of women for the sake of their respect.

He expressed regret that along with the Aam Aadmi Party, the Congress and its leaders have once again been exposed in this matter.

“Claims of respect for women and justice are part of Congress’s designer politics. It has been doing it before and is doing it even today,” said Tandon.

He said Congress candidate from Chandigarh Manish Tewari makes no mistake in calling himself a powerful, expert advocate and speaker of the country. But, in the Swati Maliwal case, his mouth has been stitched due to the greed of a few votes.

Tandon raised the question that if the political organization of which Manish Tewari is the leader, if there was no agreement between Congress and Aam Aadmi Party on the Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat, would you still have remained silent on this issue?

He said Tewari ji, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi used to cry for justice, but in the case of beating of a woman MP, she says that Swati Maliwal case is a party matter.

Along with being a woman, Swati Maliwal is also a leader of a political party and also a member of the country’s largest panchayat. If she too has to cry and wander for justice, then how will the public expect justice from the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party. Manish Tewari should also answer this.

Tandon said the BJP had strongly protested against the incident at the residence of Aam Aadmi Party Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal across the country by taking to the streets, after which action has been taken in the Swati Maliwal case a few hours ago.

He said the Aam Aadmi Party wanted to hush up this matter by taking it towards a settlement, so that this matter ends up buried in the Sheeshmahal of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Aam Aadmi Party was confident that the Congress and other opposition parties are in the INDIA bloc, due to which they will not have to face much opposition, but the way the BJP expressed its opposition to this matter, the FIR was registered only after that.

Tandon added it is shameful that for a few votes of Aam Aadmi Party, Manish Tewari has put a question mark on his long political career.
