PUNJAB GOVERNOR AND ADMINISTRATOR CHANDIGARH REMEMBERS JESUS CHRIST ON GOOD FRIDAY
CHANDIGARH, MARCH 28: The Punjab Governor and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh, Shri Banwari Lal Purohit remembered Jesus Christ on “Good Friday” saying his life was devoted to mitigating human suffering.
The Governor said, “Good Friday, one of the holiest days on the Christian calendar, symbolizes the supreme sacrifice made by Lord Jesus for mankind. On this day and in the celebration of Easter Sunday, let us rededicate ourselves to the noble virtues of love, peace and forgiveness for strengthening the bond of brotherhood and unity amongst all communities of the State”.
The Governor expressed hope that Good Friday will inspire all to follow the path of love, sacrifice and empathy as ordained by Lord Jesus Christ.
