Chandigarh, January 30 – The Haryana Anti-Corruption Bureau continues its relentless pursuit against corruption, as the Panchkula team made a significant arrest in Shahbad. Dheeraj Chauhan, the warehouse in charge of Haryana Agro Industries Corporation Limited, was caught red-handed accepting a bribe of ₹35,000. An official spokesperson revealed that Chauhan demanded a bribe from a complainant seeking storage for the rice stock for the 2022-23 season. Acting on the complaint, the ACB team meticulously investigated the matter, devising a plan to apprehend the accused. The arrest, conducted transparently and impartially in the presence of witnesses, resulted in a case being registered against Chauhan with the Anti-Corruption Bureau in Ambala. The ongoing investigation by the Anti-Corruption Bureau team involves gathering all necessary evidence.
