Republic day celebrated with patriotic performances in Excel & Blossom Society-Sector 48
Chandigarh. Residents of Excel and Blossom society in Sector 48 celebrated Republic day with great enthusiasm. The tricolor was unfurled followed by recitation of national anthem. The residents of the society joined the ceremony with full fervor. On the occasion, a cultural programe was also organised which included the performances by the residents and their children chanting Patriotic poems and songs. Rajnish Sharma, President alongwith the other office bearers of the society unfurled the tricolor. Sharma also highlighted the developments works carried out the society and emphasized the need for encouraging the children who were the future of the country.
SK Dhawan exhorted the young generation and kids to strive to take our country to new heights. The other speakers included Mrs. Sanjay Kanwar, Sudhir Malhotra and Ganesh Chaudhary.
On the occasion, the staff and workers of the society were also given cash awards for the good work done by them. Sweets were distributed among the residents and the participants of the cultural performances.
The function ended with a vote of thanks by RS Khokhar.
