Appointment Letters Distributed to Deserving Individuals at Chandigarh’s PM Rozgar Mela
Chandigarh, 30th November 2023- The Chandigarh Administration hosted a state-level screening of the PM Rozgar Mela, a momentous occasion marked by the distribution of appointment letters to deserving individuals. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Sh. Banwarilal Purohit, Governor of Punjab and Administrator Chandigarh, and the Chief Guest, Sh. Sanjeev Kumar Balyan, Union Home Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Dairying.
The ceremony witnessed the virtual distribution of appointment letters by our Prime Minister to 51,000 individuals, underscoring the government’s commitment to creating ample employment opportunities and fostering economic growth. Sh. Sanjeev Kumar Balyan, as the Chief Guest, bestowed appointment letters upon 55 successful candidates in engineering and 131 conductors in the Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CTU). This moment reflects the dedication and hard work of individuals who have excelled in their respective fields.
Furthermore, the event celebrated the distribution of recruitment letters to new recruits of the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) and Kendriya Vidyalaya. Recognizing the significance of education in progress, this step contributes to building a skilled and capable workforce.
The Administrator of Chandigarh expressed his delight at witnessing the fulfillment of our Prime Minister’s vision for a self-reliant India. The emphasis on skill development aligns with the initiatives witnessed during the Rozgar Mela, and the Administrator encouraged all participants to carry forward this vision, contributing to the nation’s growth with dedication and innovation.
