Navratri festival is in full swing in the city. Mata ki Chowki and Ramlila are being organized at many places. Former BJP President Arun Sood visited the residence of former Aam Aadmi Party Chandigarh President Prem Garg and congratulated Garg for the ISKCON Kirtan. Mayor Anoop Gupta, former Mayor Sarabjit Kaur Dhillon were with him on this occasion. Residents of Sector 41 A organized Mata ki Chowki on the occasion of Navratri where Sood paid obeisance.
Ramlila Committee Sector 22/ Nehru Park, in Sector 22 Market, Ram Janki sewa mandal in Sector 45, Ramlila was organized by Uttarakhand Ramlila Committee at Ramlila Maidan, Mauli Complex, where State BJP President Jatinder Pal Malhotra and Arun Sood came together and participated in the programs.
On behalf of Sector 21 Market Association, Mata ki Chowki was organized in Sector 21 and Manimajra NAC Market where Malhotra and Sood together paid obeisance. Both the leaders also addressed the devotees there and congratulated the organisers for events.
