The hon’ble HM Sh Mansukh Mandaviya will inaugurate the Two wellness centres in Panchkula and Chandigarh on 09 June 2023 at 09:00 AM. The Panchkula will be the 80 CGHS city thus fulfilling the long cherished demand of the employees and pensioners for having a CGHS wellness centre.
Chandigarh city already have one wellness centre with 47000 registered beneficiaries. Opening of 2nd wellness centre at Sec 29-C will give a big relief to the beneficiaries as the workload will be divided between two wellness centres and waiting time will also reduce.
The opening of Two new wellness centres shall mitigate the hardship faced by the pensioners residing not only in tricity but also residing in nearby areas of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pardesh.
The coverage of CGHS cities has expanded from 25 cities in 2014 to 80 in 2023
