Chandigarh April 18, 2023
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Centre and the Department of Sociology, Panjab University, Chandigarh conducted an Essay and Slogan writing and poster-making competition for the students to celebrate the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on 18.4.2023. The themes of the competition were:
a: Biographical Sketch of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar
b: Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Social Change and
c: Dr. B.R. Ambedkar as the father of the Indian Constitution
A large number of students and research scholars from different Departments like Sociology, History, Fine Arts, English and Women Studies participated in the contest.
The first prize for Essay Writing went to Mr. Kuldeep Singh; the first prize for Slogan Writing went to Ms. Puneet Kaur and the first prize for Poster making was given to Ms. Pratishtha and Ms. Kanika.
