Artemis Hospitals Joins Global Efforts to Raise Awareness on World Encephalitis Day
Gurgaon 22nd Feb 2022 – Artemis Hospitals is pleased to announce its participation in the observance of World Encephalitis Day on February 22, 2023. The day is marked worldwide to raise awareness about the condition and its impact on individuals, families, and communities.
Encephalitis is an inflammation of the brain, which can be caused by various factors such as infections, autoimmune disorders, or reactions to medications or vaccines. The condition can result in a range of symptoms, from mild flu-like symptoms to severe neurological problems such as seizures, confusion, or loss of consciousness. It can affect individuals of all ages and can lead to long-term disabilities, such as cognitive impairment, behavioral changes, or movement disorders.
