MOOCs: Pedagogical innovation for mass learning.
Application of Web 2.0 Technology in University Libraries .
The Department of Library and Information Science, Panjab University, Chandigarh organized special lectures on 21st February, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 01:30 p.m. Prof. Masoom Raza, Department of Library and Information Science, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh delivered enriching lecture on the topics on “MOOCs : Pedagogical innovation for mass learning” and “Application of Web 2.0 Technology in University Libraries”. All the students and research scholars attended the special lectures which were relevant in current scenario .Prof. Masoom Raza gave introduction to some web learning platforms edx , SWAYAM , NPTEL , Coursera , Khan Academy, and other organisations like NITTTR, NIOS , NCERT. Guidelines for the development and implementation of MOOCs , responsibilities of subject experts and multimedia lab , technical specifications for content development were discussed. At the end an interactive session was held with students & scholars.
