The Department of Library and Information Science, Panjab University, Chandigarh organized a special lecture on 17th February 2023 on Initiative for open access abstract(I4OA) and writing abstract” & “intellectual honesty and research integrity”. Prof. Joginder Singh, DLIS, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra was resource person. Dr. Shiv Kumar chairperson of the department welcomed the resource person.
Prof. Joginder Singh emphasized on the importance of abstract and abstract writing in the academic fields, he also discussed the relevance of abstract in the open access. He made the students aware about the basic concept of abstracts and how the process of abstracts making is being conducted. He also threw light on various fundamentals

He also told the students about some of the tools that can help in maintaining the research integrity and honesty.
