Upasana Singh Production House, Santosh Entertainment Studios Present The Poster Of ‘Bai Ji Kuttange’; Releasing On 27th May 2022
| 2nd APRIL 2022 | With a perfect blend of comedy and action, Santosh Entertainment Studio present their upcoming Punjabi film, ‘Bai Ji Kuttange’ on 27th MAY 2022. The movie is written and directed by Smeep Kang.
This movie will be the debut film for Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu (Miss Universe 2021) and Nanak (son of the versatile actress Upasana Singh) in the main lead. Accompanying the leading actors, Dev Kharoud will also act in the lead role.
Gurpreet Ghuggi, Upasana Singh and Hobby Dhaliwal will be seen playing pivotal roles in the film. Introducing a new face in the industry, French actor Hadelin de Ponteves has joined the film.
Sharing his excitement regarding this new project, Upasana Singh said, “Firstly, I established the production firmly in the memory of my beloved mother, Santosh. Our film, ‘Bai Ji Kuttange’ will be a film in which the audience will see Dev Kharoud, a serious actor, in a comedic character for the first time. We usually only get to see comedy or action in Punjabi cinema, but in our next production, we’ve been able to merge the two genres. We are ecstatic to display the film, and we anticipate that the audience will show it the same love and respect that they have shown me.”
The director of the film, Smeep Kang says, “Since I always make comedies, my characters are often buffoons and the non-serious kind. I always wanted to do a comedy around serious people and what kind of people are more serious than the musclemen? Dev Kharoud plays one such muscleman in this film and he gets to face the characters from my regular films. What follows is a laughter-filled clash of two opposite worlds.”
