Properties of proclaimed offenders attached in Haryana
Chandigarh, March 22 – In a major action against proclaimed offenders, Haryana Police has attached the immovable assets of two accused worth Rs 15.60 lakh in Nuh district.
Giving the information here today, a Haryana Police spokesperson informed that police have got the orders to attach a total of 8 Kanal 15 marla land of two proclaimed offenders absconding for a long time. These properties were being attached as per the instructions of the authority concerned.
First accused Umar Mohammed, whose 1 kanal 11 marla land was attached, belongs to Nuh district. He was booked in Ferozpur Jhirka police station in the year 1995.
Similarly, the second accused Kulhad aka Nizamuddin whose 7 Kanal 4 marla property attached, was declared proclaimed offender in a case registered against him at the Firozpur Jhirka police station in 2016.
The spokesperson informed that the POs and bail jumpers have also been warned to either surrender, otherwise their property will be attached as per law.
