Haryana cops take National Voters’ Day pledge

Panchkula/Chandigarh, Jan 25 – On the occasion of National Voters Day, Additional Director General of Police (Modernization and Welfare), Haryana, Sh. Alok Kumar Roy administered the pledge to various ranks of Haryana Police in a function organised at the Police headquarters in Panchkula, today.

Sh. Alok Roy administered the pledge of having abiding faith in democracy and maintaining the dignity of democratic values like free, fair, and peaceful elections. The Police officers and personnel who were present at the event pledged to use their voting rights in every election fearlessly and without being influenced by considerations of religion, race, caste, community, language, or any inducement.

Every year, January 25 is observed as National Voters’ Day.
