100% COVID Vaccination for targeted population in UT Chandigarh
Shri Dharam Pal, IAS, Adviser to Administrator UT informed that Today on the eve of the Republic Day, the UT Chandigarh has completed the double dose of COVID vaccination to the 100% targeted population of 18 years and above.
Shri Dharam Pal, Adviser has congratulated all the Doctors, Nurses and Health Care Workers in UT Chandigarh for administering both the doses of COVID vaccines to 100% targeted population of 18 years and above.
He stated that with 127% vaccination of first dose, the Chandigarh is first in the Country. Similarly even after achieving this milestone of 100% second dose, we will continue with the sincere efforts to cover more and more people even from the adjoining areas.
The Adviser further stated that the UT Administration is fully prepared to deal with the ongoing surge in the COVID and each aspect is being monitored meticulously. There is no issue with regard to availability of beds in hospitals, medical oxygen and critical medicines etc. The rates of different tests and treatment have also been rationalized in the UT.
