Sudha Society Foundation, based out of South City II Gurugram has set an example by encouraging its Open School students to contribute towards the environment in a unique way. The students collected and filled out old plastic bottles with plastic wrappers to form eco bricks. Suc 100 eco bricks were donated to Mr Binod kumar of paryavaran sanrakshan gatividhi an initiative by RSS they will utilize these to build walls , “Environmental Protection Activity”.
Mrs. Ruchi Saxena, President of Sudha commented on how the use of plastic seems convenient but is causing long-term damage to the environment in every way possible. It is a matter of concern, and people must be aware of it.
There are so many dangerous chemicals in plastic, which are coming to the fore as a great threat to the environment as well as humans. In fact, apart from land, plastic has also badly polluted the water bodies.
Sudha’s Chairman Shri Gopal Krishna Bhatnagar gave more context about the campaigns they’ve been working on to protect the environment, “Sudha has been working around public awareness campaigns to discourage the use of plastics and promoting cloth bags Also, we’re highlighting ways to reuse the plastic bottles, such as cutting the bottom of these bottles in half and it can also be used as petrol pouring flask. Cut the bottom of the plastic bottle or container and tie a thread in it by making holes on both sides. Now this holder can be used to keep small or food items at home or in the car.”
SUDHA Society organized one such activity to teach the students and guide them to the path of doing their bit for the environment, by filling plastic waste in old plastic bottles to form bricks. All the children and workers garima suhani pooja minash atul bajaj enthusiastically participated in the activity.में भी और भावुक भी हुए
