Prof. Anil Kumar Gupta, Dean (Research) & Medical Superintendent-cum-Professor & Head Department of Hospital Administration bid adieu to PGIMER, Chandigarh today after putting in 26 years of service. Prof Gupta joined PGIMER on 9th Jan 1996 as Medical Superintendent cum Prof. & Head and rose to become the Dean of the Institute. He was given a warm farewell by the Director of the Institute where he commended the exemplary services rendered by Prof. Gupta to the institute.
The staff of the dean office recalled the short but highly productive period that he lead the office. The faculty, Residents and staff of office Medical Superintendent and Department of Hospital Administration paid glowing tributes to him while recalling his efforts to create and nurture the department.
Prof. Gupta thanked all the colleagues past and present for the love, affection and warmth extended to him during his stay at the institute. His popularity can be gauged from the fact that a human corridor was formed by numerous employee of the institute while he was leaving his office to his car. With misty eyes, he remembered and profusely thanked everyone and wished the best in future to his successor as well as the institute.
