The first dose of vaccination has already been given to 110% of the targeted population which indicate that many of the residents of other States/UTs have got their vaccination done in UT Chandigarh.

However, for second dose of COVID Vaccination, the target is yet to be achieved and presently about 70% of the targeted population has been covered. More than 75000 persons who have got first dose of vaccination and completed prescribed gap are to get the second dose of vaccination. Each of the people is being separately contacted on the given mobile number and a drive has been undertaken to administer 2nd dose in all the above overdue cases. People who have got 1st dose from Chandigarh and then went to other places, may get their second dose from anywhere in the India and should not delay it further for their return to Chandigarh.

All the Market Associations/Trade Associations/Resident Welfare Associations/Vyapar Mandal/NGOs and Corporates etc shall ensure that all eligible persons in the families of their staff/members have taken both the doses of the COVID vaccination and also to ensure that their friends/relative/known persons are also covered.
