Duo Art Show Prakirti organized by Pracheen Kala Kendra in PKK Art Gallery
Pracheen Kala Kendra organized a Duo Art show “Prakirti” by Kirti & Prashant Sarkar. The Art Exhibition is being showcased at PKK Art Gallery at Kendra’s complex in sector -35. Honrary Secretary of Lalit Kala Academy Sh. Madan Lal inaugurated the exhibition. Kendra’s Registrar Dr. Shobha Koser , Secretary Sh. Sajal Koser along with Hon. Director Sh. Ashutosh Mahajan , Project , Planning and development Pracheen Kala Kendra were also present on the occasion.
From today the exhibition will be on view for art lovers of tricity from today i.e. 7th November to 11th November daily from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm .
Both artists are alumni of College of Art, New Delhi, have entirely different styles of painting though working the same studio. While Kirti has bright vibrant pallet with minute detailing derived from folk art, Prashant has dreamy pastels as his favorite colours in his pallet & a typical style of creating textures. Nature plays as “The Muse” for both of them. The artists duo Prashant K. Sarkar and Kirti B. Sarkar are painting one theme, that is nature. But have a different language and technique of their own to depict the feeling, passion and love for nature through their different subtle colour palette, forms and textures.
Prashant has not limited himself to one medium or figurative style only; he works with various medium and has strong abstract sense of paintings and is a marvelous sculptor and plays various rhythmic instruments too.
Kirti has an innate love for detailed works and has a distinct style of bright vibrant paintings. She abstracts from the folk arts which have strong roots in the Indian culture. She has a very simple pleasant style of painting which are done in flat colors while some are abstracts depicting the elements of life.
With these type of exhibition Pracheen Kala Kendra also endeavor to create awareness & help art collectors to acquire art at early valuations as well as the artists to flouris
