Dubai Bizman SPS Oberoi to support My Tree Foundation
SPS Oberoi, Dubai based businessman, who is known for his philanthrophic work, particularly in Punjab and founder of Sarbat Da Bhalla Trust, has extended his helping hand for My Tree foundation, which aims to plant sandalwood and other high value trees in Chandigarh and Punjab. SPS Oberoi is known for providing blood money to save youth from the death sentence. He has paid more than USD 2.5 million so far as blood money in lieu of saving lives of 117 youngsters. He also helps in making necessary arrangements for bringing dead bodies of Indians from abroad, who die in foreign soils but their families can’t afford expenses of flying the bodies back to India. More than 234 dead bodies of Indians have been brought back to India from Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Dubai etc., through his efforts.
His trust Sarbat Da Bhalla has done yeoman services during the Covid times by providing rations, masks, oxygen concentrators and other medical help. The trust also provides for monthly pension to more than ten thousand widows. He is named Savior Singh. His trust has got installed oxygen plants in all medical colleges of Punjab.
Prem Garg, founder of My Tree Foundation today discussed the plan for plantation of lakhs of sandalwood and high value fruit trees in Chandigarh and Punjab. Mr. Oberoi has assured all financial and logistic support to My Tree foundation.
