Chandigarh.15th July,2021: A House- to- House survey cum vaccination drive was conducted at Dadumajra today. A mobile vaccination centre was set up in an AC bus which moved near the houses. In addition, two other centres were set up in colony and HWC . Total 442 beneficiaries were vaccinated out of which 393 were vaccinated for the first dose .
Out of 8 people with disability , 4 were vaccinated at their homes as they were bed ridden. Also, 40 elderly people were offered pick and drop services from their homes to the centre by the Health department.
Mr Jaswinder an ex army man staying alone with paraplegia was grateful of the Health Department for this initiative as he had been wanting to get vaccinated since long but there was no one to take him to the centre . The vaccination drive recieved good response and was a big success.
