Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) is proving to be very helpful for the farmers. Earlier, farmers had to borrow money from money lenders at exorbitant interest rates to buy fertilizer and seeds. Today, Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has become a big support for these farmers. With this scheme, the life of the farmers in the village of Aaraipura in Karnal has also changed. The beneficiary farmers say that this fund is a great support for small and marginal farmers.
Kisan Tegh Singh, one of the beneficiaries confirms that the amount under Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi has been directly credited to their accounts. Further, he said, “The money is a big support for small farmers like us. We don’t have to visit the bank again and again. This money has helped us a lot in bearing the expenses of sowing”
