the 3rd round of e-tendering held

Chandigarh.7th April,2021:In the 3rd round of e-tendering held on today, the Excise & Taxation Department, U.T., Chandigarh received a total 5 tenders/ bids electronically against 2 of the 6 pending liquor vends/ licensing units. After opening of e-financial bids, 2 liquor vends were sold out and the Department received a revenue of Rs. 6.80 crores against Rs. 5.95 crores reserve price with an increase of 14.39%. In totality, the Department got overwhelming response from the trade by collecting a total revenue of Rs. 453.39 crores from 92 liquor vends in the shape of licence fees against a reserve price of Rs. 365.05 crores, registering an increase of approximately 24.20% over the reserve price and received a total of Rs 6.51 crores in shape of participation fee. An analysis of the successful bidders revealed that no single entity got allotment of more than 8 vends.
The opening of e-tenders/ financial bids held at Conference Hall, Excise & Taxation Department, Sector 17, Chandigarh which took place in the presence of Allotment Committee and observer appointed by the Chandigarh Administration.
