COVID -19 Vaccination drive has been expanded from 1st April across the Nation to include every Citizen who is of 45 yrs . of age or more. The condition of having specified co morbidities has been done away with.
In a significant step to exponentially expand the Vaccination drive , Health Department UT Chandigarh has strengthened the said drive in all CVCs at Government and Private Hospitals .
Seeing the positive response of Public UT Health Department has decided to operationalise both Government and Private Sector COVID Vaccination Centres (CVCs) tomorrow also on ,Good Friday so as to optimally utilise all CVCs.
UT Health Department appeals to all the Citizens above the age of 45 years to get them vaccinated and to protect themselves and their families from COVID-19.

Approx. 1867 above 45 yrs. were vaccinated today.
