Chandigarh : February 3 : Prof Surinder Singh Pandav has taken over the charge of Head, Advanced Eye Centre, PGI, Chandigarh on 02.02.2021. Prof Jagat Ram relinquished the charge of Head of the Advanced Eye Centre, PGIMER, Chandigarh, on 02.02.2021.
It is a rare gesture that Prof Jagat Ram handed over the charge as Head, Advanced Eye Centre, twice during his tenure. In 2017, he gave the charge as Head, Advanced Eye Centre to Prof Mangat R Dogra, who retired in June, 2019.
On this occasion, Prof Jagat Ram congratulated Prof SS Pandav and conveyed his best wishes for the successful future ahead. Prof S S Pandav thanked Prof Jagat Ram for this gesture and assured that he will try his best to take the Centre to its newer heights.
