~AIKSCC Denounces the Repression of Farmer Protests Being Held in Andhra Pradesh & Odisha and Demands Immediate Release of all Arrested Leaders & Activists
The National Woking Group of AIKSCC has announced the a mass burning of effigies of Narendra Modi Government and Corporate giants Ambani and Adani will be burnt on 5th December 2020. It is expected that constituents of AIKSCC shall gather to carry our this call in more than 5000 locations in India.
In addition, AIKSCC has extended full support to and expressed solidarity with the following campaigns being held all over India:
1. 3rd December – Protest Programs being held by constituent organisations all over India demanding repeal of New Farm Acts & Electricity Bill 2020
2. 3rd December – Anti-Corporate Day Protest Programs being held by constituent organisations all over India
3. 4th December – Protest March of Mass Organisations at Jantar Mantar, Delhi
4. 4th & 5th December – Protest Meetings, Road Blockades & other forms of protest being held all over India
AIKSCC acknowledges, welcomes and expresses gratitude to all mass organisations and trade unions who have openly opposed the Central Govts. anti-farmer, anti-people and pro-corporate laws and policy perspectives. AIKSCC respects the sentiment of people and understands that solidarity of farmers, farmworkers and working class is the call of the hour to defeat the Central Govt. that is working for giant corporations and monopolies.
AIKSCC expresses shock at the acts of wanton repression being unleashed against leaders and activists in the protests against the Central Govt. Reports have been received of arrests of leaders. AIKSCC demands immediate release of all arrested leaders and activists and warns all governments that any repression will be met by more determined resistances by the masses.
