General Pool have been allotted through online bidding process.

In the General Pool to the eligible Government Employees of Honble Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh Administration, Punjab Government and Haryana Government, the Chandigarh Administration has adopted online bidding process for the vacant houses from 1st to 8th of every month on the basis of vacant houses list uploaded on its website www.eawas.chd.gov.in. The allotment of the government houses is made to the senior most applicant from the total bids received against that house on the basis of their eligibility and priority.
An intimation with regard to allotment of Government House to the successful applicant through online bidding process is given through SMS. They can also check their status on the website. The entire online procedure ensures transparency and fairness. The Chandigarh Administration does not entertain any written request or recommendation for the allotment of particular house in this bidding process. For the month of October 2020, a total of 262 government houses of different categories in the General Pool have been allotted through online bidding process.
