Patiala 14th August , 2020: A meeting of EPS 95 Pensioners under the banner of National Agitation Committee – Punjab State , headed by Sh. Shyam Lal Sharma , NAC , State Coordinator – Punjab and Sh. Jatindervir Singh , NAC State President – Punjab , was held and various issues relating to retirees under the above scheme were discussed including unilateral CBT decision on the corpus of the pensioners by EPFO .

Patiala 14th August , 2020: A meeting of EPS 95 Pensioners under the banner of National Agitation Committee – Punjab State , headed by Sh. Shyam Lal Sharma , NAC , State Coordinator – Punjab and Sh. Jatindervir Singh , NAC State President – Punjab , was held and various issues relating to retirees under the above scheme were discussed including unilateral CBT decision on the corpus of the pensioners by EPFO . The members were apprised that Emails have been sent to all MPs of Punjab / Chandigarh for forwarding our genuine demands to GOI with their recommendation . The ongoing Chain Hunger Strike for the last 600 days at Buldana , Maharastra , was also discussed and it was unanimously decided to strengthen the hands of our NAC President Commander Ashok Raut , who is selflessly / vigorously fighting for the cause of EPS 95 Pensioners in the fulfilling the genuine demands as under :
1) Raising pension to Rs. 7500/- + DA . in the light of non revision of the pension , every after 5 years ( spirit of EPS 95 Scheme ) and recommendation of the Koshiari Committee in the year 2013 .
2) Withdrawl of Interim Advisory dated 31-05-2017 issued by EPFO and calculation of pension on actual salary drawn by retiree in the last 12 months of his attainingg the age of 58 years , as per the decision of the Hon ‘ble Supreme Court .
3) Free medical facility to the pensioner and his spouse .
4) Refund of accumulated Corpus of the pensioner on the death on pensioner and spouse to the nominee.
5) Cover pensioners under EPS 95 who could not be covered initially after taking proper contributions with interest and calculation of their pension or releasing Rs. 5000/- to such retirees unconditionally .  
It has unanimously been decided to keep a watch on the meetings of the NAC President going on with the Labour Ministry / Hon ‘ble Prime Minister and be prepared for the agitation call / rally , if need so arises , have to be organised at Delhi level .
