Students of  Dikshant share children’s day cheer with underprivileged kids
Zirakpur, November, 14 2018
On the occasion of children’s day, Dikshant International School organised a unique  community programme for around 50 underprivileged children. Dikshantites got engaged in team games and fun activities with children from the less privileged section of  society. They prepared a banner in a group around the theme ‘Together we will build a beautiful world’. Students had also got additional tiffin boxes to share food with their new found friends. The children’s day event instilled compassion in students and laid the foundation of responsible citizenship among them.
“It is important for those in a privileged situation to make their underprivileged friends feel wanted so that there is no feeling of discrimination according to societal or financial  conditions. The growth of our country is only possible with involvement of all sections, everyone should feel important and be a part of progress.” Said Mitul Dikshit, Chairman, Dikshant Schools.
The event which aimed at promoting inclusiveness in society also saw cementing of the bond between teachers and students. The teachers reminisced about their childhood through different enactments. The teachers also showed their talent by performing well orchestrated dances.
