India Gears Up for Landmark Pan-India Electric Vehicle (EV) Road Show 2025
Titled – Bharat Mahaa EV Rally, the longest EV Road show of India covering 15,000 kilometers.
A 100-Day Journey to Drive Awareness, Sustainability & the Future of Green Mobility
New Delhi, April 14, 2025 — The International Federation of Electric Vehicle Association (IFEVA) is proud to announce the All India Electric Vehicle (EV) Road Show 2025, a groundbreaking initiative to promote –
1. Sustainable mobility,
2. Clean energy adoption,
3. National awareness on electric vehicles,
4. Show to people that long distance travel in Electric Vehicles is possible,
5. The endurance test of the electric vehicle for long distance travel is also done.
It is scheduled from August to October 2025, the 100-day road show will travel over 15,000 kilometers across the country — from Leh in the North to Arunachal Pradesh in the East and Kanyakumari in the South to Gujarat in the West, the Road show starts from Delhi and ends up in Delhi — bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, educational institutions, startups, and citizens under one green mission.
This campaign, conducted under a Public-Private Participation model, is not just a showcase of EV innovation but a transformative movement aimed at reducing air, noise, and water pollution, while also accelerating India’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, Net Zero, and Make in India.
Key Highlights of the EV Road Show 2025:
• National Coverage: Over 100 cities and towns across India to be reached.
• Public Engagement: On-ground awareness programs, exhibitions, road shows, test drives and workshops for citizens, students, and transport communities.
• Government Partnership: Ministries, PSUs, and state departments will be engaged for institutional support and policy dialogue.
• Industry Collaboration: Leading EV manufacturers, battery companies, charging infrastructure providers, and green startups to participate.
• Environmental Impact: Plantation of 1 Crore saplings in key cities in collaboration with municipal bodies and schools.
• Digital & Media Reach: Extensive promotion via digital platforms, social media campaigns, and on-ground media coverage.
Objectives of the Initiative:
• Promote electric mobility and build confidence among consumers
• Reduce the environmental footprint of transport across India
• Create employment and entrepreneurial opportunities in the EV sector
• Connect stakeholders and foster a collaborative EV ecosystem
• Strengthen the role of youth and educational institutions in driving the EV mission
Support & Collaboration:
IFEVA is seeking active support from various ministries, departments, educational institutions and social organization. A formal invitation and roadmap have been sent to Hon’ble Ministers at the Central and State levels, and the responses are expected to commence soon.
We earnestly seek the complete support of National and State Media covering Television channels, Radio channels, Newsprint Media, E-News Media, and the Social Media to do extensive coverage of this mighty event and increase the awareness, value purpose, sustainability and convenience of using Electric Vehicles and the betterment of climatic conditions.
We also request the media to support us to bring about the unity of our Nation, cohesiveness of all Governments of India and further lay the foundation for One Earth, One World, One Nation, One Family and Oneness as part of people’s responsibility.
We also request the media to propagate the need for drastic reduction of pollution in transportation and Industry and to bring about global, peace and harmony without wars, henceforth.
We appeal to the media to boost the India image as the champion of Global, peace, harmony and a National and Global life of cooperative living.
The Road Show will feature:
