Baisakhi: Vicky Middukhera Foundation & Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust Hold Free Medical Camp
Mohali, April 13, 2025: On the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi, Vicky Middukhera Foundation- a Non-Governmental organisation (NGO) founded by Ajaypal Singh Middukhera elder brother of late student leader Vicky Middukhera, in collaboration with the Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust, organized a large-scale free medical camp at Gurdwara Sri Amb Sahib, Phase 8, Mohali. More than 450 people availed health check-ups and consultations from specialist doctors at the camp.
The camp was inaugurated by the chief guest Sukhdeep Singh Oberoi, who is the son of Dr. S P Singh Oberoi, Founder and Managing Trustee of Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust. Oberoi was joined by Ajaypal Singh Middukhera, founder of the Vicky Middukhera Foundation. Rajinder Singh Tohra, Manager of Gurdwara Sri Amb Sahib was the special guest at the event. Another prominent person present was Kamaljit Singh Ruby.
On this occasion, Ajaypal Middukhera stated, “Baisakhi marks new beginnings and is a symbol of service. By organizing this medical camp on such a day, we are carrying forward the spirit of dedication and service exemplified by the late Vicky Middukhera. His life was devoted to the betterment of society, and we are committed to fulfilling his vision.”
The camp featured expert consultations in various specialties. The medical experts who handled the check-ups were Dr. Aditya Sharma (Eye Specialist), Dr. Amandeep Garg (Orthopaedic Specialist), Dr. Shivani Jain (ENT Specialist), and Dr. S.P. Singh (Dermatologist). Free medical consultations, medicines, and eyeglasses were distributed to the attendees. Each doctor was presented with a plant as a token of appreciation by the organisers.
The successful execution of the camp once again reflected the strong commitment of both the Vicky Middukhera Foundation and Sarbat Da Bhala Trust towards community service. The organizers also pledged to continue hosting such welfare-driven camps in the future.
