a vibrant rally aimed at promoting girls’ rights and highlighting the importance
of gender equality.
The rally kicked off at 10 a.m. with school principal Sr. Siji Isaac leading the
members of Girl India Project. Colourful banners adorned with inspiring
messages like ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padao’ “Empower Her” and “Girls’ Rights Are
Human Rights.” lined the route, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and
solidarity.
As the rally concluded, Sr Siji addressed the rally and all participants joined in a
collective pledge to advocate for girls’ rights and ensure every girl has access to
education and equal opportunities and also to spread the message to the
families, relatives and the community as a whole.
The event was a powerful reminder of the ongoing struggle for gender equality
and the role that each individual can play in creating positive change.
