PGI Radiology Technical Staff host National level CME on “Current Trends in Radiology”

The Bhargava Auditorium at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI), Chandigarh, witnessed a dynamic exchange of knowledge and insights during the National Level Continuing Medical Education (CME) on “Current Trends in Radiology,” which drew professionals and experts from across the region.The Successful CME Unveiled Cutting-Edge Developments in the field of Radiology

The esteemed Chief Guest, Prof. VivekLal, Director PGI, Inaugurated the Conference, delivering an inspiring inaugural address. Prof. M.S.Sandhu, Head, Department of Radio-diagnosis and Prof. Paramjeet Singh, both eminent personalities in the field, served as Guests of Honor, enriching the event with their profound expertise.

Organized under the adept leadership of Mr. Ajay Kumar Sharma, the Organizing Chairman, and Mr. AdityaNagrath, the Organizing Secretary, the CME provided a platform for participants to delve into the latest advancements, challenges, and breakthroughs in the ever-evolving landscape of radiology. They said around 600 Delegates attended the CME.

The event featured engaging presentations, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, fostering collaboration among professionals and promoting a shared vision for the future of radiology. Attendees had the opportunity to explore emerging technologies, diagnostic approaches, and research findings that are shaping the current trajectory of the field said Mr. Ajay Sharma.

This association of medical technologists was registered in 2019 and works for the welfare of medical technologists of Deptt of Radio diagnosis at PGIMER and also for organizing such Teaching CME programs. The event’s impact is expected to resonate within the medical community, further propelling advancements in radiology for the benefit of the patient care said Mr. AdityaNagrathOrganising Secretary of the Conference.
