BJP President Jatinder Malhotra demands Ayushman Bharat card for all residents in the city

Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Bharti Praveen Pawar, during her visit to Chandigarh today, visited BJP office Kamalam and interacted with the workers and took suggestions from the workers for improving the health services of the city as well as the schemes of the Central Government, especially the health related schemes. She informed that Ayushman cards of 1.64 lakh persons have been made in Chandigarh while till now health facilities worth ₹30 crore have been provided to 37000 patients. Total 26 crore Ayushman cards have been made across the country and 25 crore more cards are to be made. 5.5 crore families in the country have so far benefited from the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
On this occasion, State President Jatinder Pal Malhotra welcomed the Union Minister of State to the BJP office and also gave suggestions for further improvements in health services in Chandigarh. He demanded to make Ayushman card for all the residents of Chandigarh city under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, apart from this Rogi Kalyan Samiti, expansion of Jan Aushadhi centers, medical cadre of doctors in Chandigarh, increase the number of private nursing homes in the city. Malhotra also stressed on the need for further improvements in facilities for patients in PGI Chandigarh. Mayor Anoop Gupta thanked the Minister and all the workers present.
On this occasion, along with State President Jatinder Pal Malhotra, General Secretary Ramveer Bhatti, Chandrashekhar, Mayor Anoop Gupta, all the state officials, Districts and Morcha Presidents, General Secretaries, all councilors, medical cell office bearers and other senior workers were present.
