UT girls beat J&K by 52 runs in their first match
Chandigarh, UT under-19 girls team which is touring Jammu won the first match of the three-match ODI series against J&K by 52 runs at Hostel Ground, Jammu on Monday. Chandigarh won the toss to bat first and put 175 runs on the board. Parushi Prabhakar (47) was the top scorer while Gulnaz Grewal added 28 runs. Yasheena took three wickets from opposition. In reply, the J & K team couldn’t recover against the lethal bowling attack led by Poorvi (4/17) and Parushi Prabhakar (3/24) and were bundled out for 124 runs. Afreen scored the maximum 24 runs.
