Sh. Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister inaugurated India’s first Indian Airforce Heritage Centre in Chandigarh today.
The Airforce Heritage Centre is a tribute to all the Air Force Warriors who have been protecting our country. The centre has been set up with a collective team work and effort of Air Force officials and team it Chandigarh Administration.
After the grand inauguration of the Airforce Centre today, it has opened it to the public. An Immersive Experience ticket can be purchased in addition to the Entry Ticket. The Immersive Experience ticket allows a visitor to experience the thrill of experiencing simulator, AR/VR interaction Motivational Theatre and Holographic display. However, a maximum of 75 persons can avail the Immersive Experience through three time slots of 10 a.m., 12 pm and 3 pm. Tourist guides are available in the Heritage Centre for assistance.
The Immersive Experience ticket is priced at Rs 295/- and the entry ticket is priced at Rs 50/-. Children below the age of 18 years are exempted from Entry Ticket only. The tickets can be booked online on Chandigarh Tourism App or can be purchased from the IAF Heritage Centre, Sector 18. A cafe at the IAF Heritage Centre is also operational and is accessible to the visitors to the Centre as well as general public.
