Gully Cricket Tournament enters in day five with 5 matches as 2252 runs scored against 160 wickets

Chandigarh: Gully Cricket Tournament being organized by UT Cricket Association (UTCA) enters day five as batters continue to score and bowlers clinching wickets. In total 15 matches played at GMSS School Sector 35, 26, 32, 10, Government College of Architect and Punjab Engineering College, batters scored 2252 runs while bowlers amassed 160 wickets.

Meanwhile, Chandigarh Press Club XI defeated the Indian Medical Association XI team by 23 runs in the series of exhibition matches being organized under the aegis of  this tournament on Sunday night. Another exciting exhibition match between Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker’s XI and Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker’s XI is scheduled on April 15 at Sector 16 Cricket Stadium.

The results of the matches played on Monday were as follows.

Team No. 152 (106/5) beat Team No. 151 (65/6) by 41 runs.

Team No. 62 (126/4) beat Team No. 61 (31 all out) by 95 runs

Team No. 131 (139/3) beat Team No. 132 (64/5) by 75 runs

Team No 149 (39/7) beat Team No 150 (42/1) by nine wickets

Team No. 60 (46/5) lost to Team No. 59 (50/2) by eight wickets

Team No. 69 (41/7) lost to Team No. 70 (42/1) by nine wickets

Team No. 40 (49/9) lost to Team No. 39 (52/6) by four wickets

Team No 129 (71/4) beat Team No 130 (72/1) by nine wickets

Team No. 177 (96/6) lost to Team No. 178 (102/1) by nine wickets

Team No. 76 (99/9) beat Team No. 75 (57/8) by 42 runs
