Blood donation camp was organised in PGIMER to commemorate martyrdom day of Shaheed-e-azam Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev .
A Blood donation camp was organised under Nationwide Blood Donation Campaign “Mission Jeevan Rekha” at India’s prestigious medical institute, PGI Chandigarh by Navya Bharat Foundation (NBF India) ,Student Association of Physical Therapy (SAPT India) & Thalessemia Charitable Trust on the occasion of martyrdom day of Shaheed-e-azam Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev ji.The camp was inaugurated by Mr. Husan Lal (IAS), Former Principal Secretary (Medical Education), Punjab, Mr. Sumit ji, Pracharak, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Chandigarh, Prof.Vipin Kaushal, Medical Superintendent PGI Chandigarh, Prof. Ratti Ram Sharma, HOD, Transfusion Medicine were present.On this occasion doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, students and staff of PGI enthusiastically participated in the blood donation camp. Along with ROTTO, the general public was also made aware for organ donation. On this occasion, Dr. Anirudh Uniyal, Founder and National President of NBF and SAPT India, said that through blood donation and organ donation, we provide new life to the people and Mission Jeevan Rekha is the only part of this great goal, and he also appealed to all the countrymen to co-operate in this great work.
