Chandigarh Engineering College Students Visit to EDC Building to Learn About Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Chandigarh: In sync with vision of Honorable PM to boast entrepreneurship, Department of Information Technology, Chandigarh Administration organized visit of students of Chandigarh Engineering College to Entrepreneur Development Centre , Chandigarh Technology park on 21st, 22nd & 23rd March 2023 to give them insight into the world of entrepreneurship. The three days visit were aimed at exposing students to the innovative and creative environment of startups, which will inspire them to pursue their own entrepreneurial dreams. During the visits, the students interacted with startup founders, who shared their experiences and insights into the challenges and opportunities of running a startup. The students were able to observe the various stages of a startup’s development, from ideation to product launch. These visits provided the students with valuable exposure to world of startups and motivated them to explore their own entrepreneurial potential. More than 300 students from Chandigarh Engineering College Landran visited EDC building.
Students interacted with Mr Vivek Chandel from Intelliwings , Mr Gurinder Singh from Advantev Technologies Pvt Ltd, Mr. Gaurav founder BuyLowcal, Mr. Rajan founder EFA Courses , Mr. Sahil founder Builtvisor, and Ms. Shivani co-founder Wonder World.
Mr. Rupesh Kumar , IAS, Director Information Technology said “ Entrepreneurship is a great opportunity for youth to develop critical skills and gain real-world experience. By following these tips and utilizing available resources, young entrepreneurs can build successful businesses and make a positive impact on their communities.”
