Prof Renu Vig, Vice Chancellor of Panjab University launched a startup “Satyavakta Solutions”. Dr Raahat Devender Singh is the founder of startup and it is incubated at the Design Innovation Centre under the mentorship of Prof. Naveen Aggarwal.
Nowadays, from each crime scene, a lot of digital evidence is gathered. It is usually very cumbersome to manually analyze all these different pieces of evidence and to prove their authenticity. Satyavakta Solutions provides automated solutions for easy analysis of evidence and eliminate any distortions to reveal otherwise obscure facts, discover and analyze inconsistencies, and verify integrity and authenticity of the data, so that this evidence can be presented confidently in the court of law.
The start-up provides other forensic services for the discovery, enhancement, and authentication of digital photographic and video evidence, such as evidence extraction, metadata analysis, content enhancement, automatic object and license plate detection, source camera identification, evidence manipulation detection, and forensic reporting.
