The Department of Art History and Visual Arts, Punjab University organized a lecture on “Coupled Lives: The Life and art of Kiron and Gertrude Sinha” on 24 Feb 2023.
The lecture was delivered by Dr.Verna Blewett and Dr. Lily Hirsch from the Bulbul Art Project, Australia. The talk threw light on the life and works of artists Kiron and Gertrude Sinha, covering their life journey and their extensive body of work which included paintings, murals, and sculptures.
The lecture was attended by the students of Department of Art History and affiliated colleges of Panjab University. The lecture was well received by the students andan interactive session with the speakers in which the students questions and got greater insight into the artists life and work.
