Chandigarh February 17, 2023
The faculty, staff and students of Department of Sociology celebrated the birth anniversary of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati on 17/02/2023 in which competitions relating to Essay writing, Drama, Declamation; Slogan writing and Poster making were organised in which more than 40 students participated enthusiastically. The event was attended by Prof. Rani Mehta, Dr. Vinod Kumar Choudhary, Prof. Sherry Sabbarwal.
The Winners of various activities are as follows:
Drama – Geetika (Sem 2), Poster Making – Ananya (Sem 2), N. Subrata (Sem 4)
Essay: Anmol (Sem 2) Manpreet Kaur (Sem 4)
Slogan: Prachi Chaudhry (Sem 2) Chandpreet Kaur and Kirty Sharma (Sem 4)
Speech – Ravi (Sem4)
On this occasion both the participants and Faculty members shared their views regarding the teaching and contribution of Dayanand Saraswati Ji.
