PU Syndicate Meeting
The Syndicate in its meeting held today, deliberated on all the agenda items and few of them are as follows.
The Syndicate approved the extension of Professor Renu Vig, UIET, P.U. as Dean of University Instruction upto 31.10.2023.
The Syndicate approved the name of Prof. Jatinder Grover, as Dean of Student Welfare w.e.f. 6th February 2023.
The Syndicate approved the names for Revising Committee, Regulation Committee and Standing Committee (UMC)
The Syndicate approved for fixation of the dates for the meetings of the Faculties to be held in March 2023 for the purpose of election of various Boards of Studies (i.e. Undergraduate and Postgraduate Boards of Studies) for the term 01.04.2023 to 31.03.2025
The Syndicate approved the nomination of two eminent Jurists, on the Research Degree Committee in Law for two years i.e. 01.01.2023 to 31.12.2024 i.e. Justice Jasbir Singh and Justice Hari Pal Verma.
The Syndicate approved the members of Joint Consultative Machinery (J.C.M.), for the year 2023 commencing 1.1.2023 to 31.12.2023.
The Syndicate approved the minutes dated 30.11.2022 of the Committee to work out detailed modalities to nullify the effect of AFUS (10/20/30 years)
The Syndicate approved the supply of video-recording of proceedings of meetings of the Syndicate and Senate at Rs. 1000/- per meeting in a pen drive.
