CMA Conducts Web-Talk with focus around Peace
Corporate Social responsibility should be Corporate Social Peace Responsibility was the theme of the webtalk delivered by Sanjiv Jaggi Sr Manager Operations at Chandigarh University. The webtalk was organised by Chandigarh Management Association under their Better Management Series.
Jaggi, a CMA life member asserted the importance of peace globally and had his view of this being the most important social responsibility which must be the focus for corporates. He even pointed towards the famous German quotation ” If you want peace, be prepared for war” and modified it to ” if you want peace, prepare for peace”. This he asserted could be started by in-house initiatives of accepting and grooming own employees by organisations. The thought provoking session was attended by CMA President Gursimran S Oberoi, General Secretary Abhishek Gupta and also 20 other members.
Treasurer Sukhwinder Bhatia, Joint Secretary, Dr Navjot Kaur, Dr Jatinderpal Sehdev, GS Thukral, Sukhwinder Singh Uppal were present from the Executive Committee of CMA .
