NINE PGIMER organised the annual fete, a fundraising event for poor patients
The National Institute of Nursing education (NINE), PGIMER, Chandigarh under the aegis of Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI) organized the annual fete, a fundraising event for the welfare of underprivileged patients on 16th Nov, 2022 at NINE, PGIMER, Chandigarh. The students and faculty of NINE came up with innovative fund generating activities ranging from food stalls (Daal bhaati churma, maakki ki roti, sarson ka saag, Chinese food stall etc) to art & craft and fun games.
The event was graced by the auspicious presence of worthy Director, PGIMER, Professor Vivek Lal, DDA, PGIMER, Mr. Kumar Gaurav Dhawan , Dean (Academics) , Professor Rakesh Sehgal , Medical Suprientendent, Professor Vipin Kaushal, and other senior dignitaries of the institute. The event was a grand success with more than one thousand attendees which included staff of PGIMER, GMCH-32 and students of nearby colleges. All the dignitaries appreciated the efforts of the nursing faculty & nursing students for this noble act of social welfare.
