4th International Literature Summit and World Poetry Conference kicks off
– 15 books of many renowned authors of the world were released
Chandigarh. Literary organization Azad Foundation and World Literature India is organizing the 4th International Literature Summit and World Poetry Conference at Hotel Oyster, Sector 17
In the last 3 editions 90,150,40 participants from India, USA, Canada, Iran, Australia, Bhutan, Serbia participated respectively.
This time 60 to 70 poets and scholars representing India and abroad are participating. These poets and scholars are from America, Canada, Serbia, Egypt, Jordan and Germany and from India, Kerala, West Bengal, Hyderabad, Chennai, Gurgaon, New Delhi and Chandigarh, Punjab.
JS Anand, President of the conference and Professor Emeritus in Indian Literature, The European Institute of Roma Studies, said that the declining human values in contemporary times and the role of literature will be the theme of the upcoming conference.
A total of 15 books were released on the first day of the event, out of which five were by Col. Dalwinder Singh Grewal. The special thing is that these books of Colonel Grewal are based on the history of Sikh Gurus and he himself has done research on these subjects for a long time.
Dr. Maja Harman Sekulik, Harish Narang, Former Professor JNU Delhi, Dr. Lalit Mohan Sharma, Dr. Laxmi Shri Banerjee, Former Vice Chancellor Kalhan University were present as special guests on the occasion of the book release. Kolkata-US based scholar Dr. Basudeb Chakraborty is the chairman of the organizing committee, Dr. Preneet Jaggi, Associate Professor, BR Ambedkar PG College. College, Sri Ganganagar is the organizing secretary and Dr. Manminder Singh Anand, DAV College, Chandigarh is the executive secretary of the conference.
